CV Crete Floor is the most durable and cost-effective floor systems available. Concrete-Visions has been polishing concrete for over a decade. We utilize state-of-the-art technologies for polished concrete floors while adding our years of knowledge and specialized techniques to produce the hardest and longest-lasting floor.

A polished concrete floor is a concrete floor that has been ground and polished using a set of coarse to finer grit diamonds to create an extremely hard and glossy concrete surface that is easy to clean and maintain. During the polishing process hardening and densifying agents are added to the concrete to create a hard, glasslike surface and to eliminate dusting while sealing the floors.

CV CRETE FLOOR: Full Polish

Make your floor the best it can be with a fully polished concrete Floor! Polished concrete floors are the most durable and longest lasting. We carefully go through all the steps grinding, honing and polishing your floor to make it extremely flat and hard. The flatter the floor is, the easier it is to maintain and harder it is to damage. A full polish produces a very glossy and attractive finish that you can see a true reflection in. Our shine comes from polishing the stone for the best finish not just by applying a heavy coat of sealer.

Full Polish Steps: 30, 70, 120-grit metal diamonds, 50, 100, 200, 400-grit resin diamonds, stain (optional), hardening treatment, 800-grit resin diamonds, 1500-grit buffing, sealer treatment, 3000-grit buffing, and final buff.

Polished concrete floors can be polished with or without a stain. Polished concrete stains are water-based and different than Acid Stains.

CV CRETE FLOOR: 400-Grit

A 400-grit polished concrete floor is similar to a full polish, but stops at the honing phase with a 400-grit diamond. A 400-grit finished floor will have a soft satin sheen where you cannot see a clear reflection on the floor.

CV CRETE FLOOR: Burnished Concrete

Burnished concrete floors takes the existing concrete surface, seals it, and finishes it with high-grit diamond buffing pads to produce a high gloss finish. This finish works best with concrete that is new, free of defects, and very flat. No grinding is involved with this finish so this finish is not an option if there are any issues associated with old concrete such as damage, glues, tile mortars, etc. Burnished concrete is a low-cost way to give your floor a super shine. Great for department stores and high-end residential finishes.

Burnished Concrete Steps: Sand floors with 60-grit sandpaper, degrease and clean floors, hardening treatment, 1500-grit buffing, sealer treatment, 3000-grit buffing, and final buff

CV CRETE FLOOR: Sealed Concrete

A sealed concrete floor is similar to the burnished concrete floor process but it does not include the final buffing steps. This produces a low-gloss satin sheen. Sealing concrete is the minimum treatment to apply to your floor to seal the concrete and make it dust-free. This is great for utility rooms, garage floors, and storage areas.

CV CRETE FLOOR: Acid Staining

Acid staining provide a rich depth of varying earth-toned colors to concrete floors. Acid stains can be applied to achieve a fairly uniform color, multi-layered variegated tones, or natural flow patterns in the concrete. We recommend acid stains if you want to stain exterior concrete, are seeking a mottled or flowy look for your interior concrete, or if you are looking for earth-toned colors such as browns, ambers, and rusty reds.

Acid stains work by penetrating the surface and creating chemically with the hydrate lime (calcium hydroxide) in the concrete. The acid opens the surface by etching the concrete allowing metallic salts to penetrate and react with the lime. Once the stain reacts, the color become a permeant part of the concrete that will not chip off, flake, or fade making an excellent choice for exterior concrete staining.

Acid stain are typically limited to a pallet of 11 earth-toned colors. Our color palette includes Ebony, Mission Brown, Walnut, Olive, Mahogany, Caramel, Jade, Coffee, Amber, Turquoise, and Weathered Terracotta.

Sealed Concrete Steps: Degrease and clean floors, hardening treatment, sealer treatment.
